The Raymarine Cyclone radar series includes two primary models, the standard Cyclone and the more powerful Cyclone Pro. Both are available with 3-, 4-, or 6-foot antenna arrays, with the Cyclone transmitting at 55 watts and the Cyclone Pro at 110 watts, affecting their range and capabilities.
Raymarine Cyclone Radar Models
The Raymarine Cyclone line offers two main versions:
- Raymarine Cyclone: This model provides 55 watts of power output, equivalent to a 6kW magnetron radar, and has a range of up to 72 nautical miles.
- Raymarine Cyclone Pro: This more powerful version transmits at 110 watts, equivalent to a 12kW magnetron radar, extending its range to 96 nautical miles.
Both Cyclone and Cyclone Pro models are available with three different open array sizes:
- 3-foot open array (SKU: T70491 for Cyclone, with a 2.83-degree horizontal beam width for the 55W model)
- 4-foot open array (SKU: T70492 for Cyclone)
- 6-foot open array (SKU: T70493 for Cyclone)
You can also purchase the Cyclone Pedestal (SKU: E70620) or Cyclone Pro Pedestal (SKU: E70621) separately, along with the individual antenna arrays (3ft: E70628, 4ft: E70629, 6ft: E70630)
